My 30+ year career in the Aerospace Sector involved delivering high-quality analysis to globally recognised industrial, research/technology, academic, airline and consultancy organisations. 

This experience resulted in an in-depth understanding of aircraft and propulsion system sizing, design, performance and operation. This knowledge is blended with a strong IT capability that consistently delivered substantial capability, productivity and quality improvements to all customers (internal and external). I am also still learning.

In May 2017, I decided to continue my career as a consultant, securing contracts with easyJet, Rolls-Royce (both FTSE 100 companies), Derwent Aviation Consulting, Cirium Alton Aviation Consulting, and others I am restricted from naming.

5 years experience of direct research while employed at Cranfield University (industry/government-supported PhD) and DERA (now QinetiQ/DSTL).

2 years recent experience with Aerospace Technology Institute supporting the development of the UK Aerospace Strategy.

17 years employed at Rolls-Royce as focal for both Airbus and Boeing activities as well as developing an extensive understanding of the operational usage of transport aircraft and engines. This included 2 years based in the RR Seattle office liaising with the Boeing Product Development team.
